UL, LLC Senior Credit Analyst (Manufacturing / Distribution) in Bangalore, India

  • Provides leadership and mentoring to other credit analysts in Credit Organization to drive towards being Best in Class”.

  • Drives generation and implementation of Process Improvements in the Credit Function.

  • Creates and keeps updated the Credit Desktop Procedures and aligns them with other Credit Organizations Globally.

  • Perform complex credit analysis on key/global accounts to ensure business risk is minimized.

  • Analyze a high volume of orders requiring credit review.

  • Meet daily release deadlines to ensure customer orders are processed efficiently.

  • Set and adjust credit limits on customer based on purchasing requirements and past payment experience.

  • Ensure polices and procedures are followed in accordance with SOX controls.

  • Provide guidance to Sales teams on credit processes and procedures and aid them with having credit related discussions with customers.

  • Proactively reviewing customer accounts and credit history and identifying potential collections risks.

  • Partner with Global Credit GPO to provide recommendations on Credit limits for customers.

  • Help drive implementation of automated Credit Tools.

  • Provide guidance to Collectors on driving more efficient collections by using credit knowledge of customers.

  • Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices

  • 4 years directly related work experience.

  • Detailed knowledge of Accounts Receivable procedures and processes.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills with the ability to form business relationships.

  • Ability to read and analyze financial statements.

  • Decision making, negotiation and business acumen.

  • Ability to read and analyze Dun & Bradstreet credit reports.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Good command on English
