UL, LLC TS Team Leader in Bangalore, India
Manages the performance of direct reports by developing accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing career counseling, feedback and guidance and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to.
Serves as Project Lead for customer assignments within an area of technical expertise.
Communicates project status and results to clients.
Responsible for defining project scope, planning, report review and accuracy, meeting agreed deadlines, and managing project related activities.
Coordinates department activities and instructions to staff, scheduling and reviewing work to keep project completion dates. Interacts with customers and communicates (technical) issues.
Acts to address customer concerns and resolve issues for their project.
Support Transaction Securities business externally through meetings at client sites, attendance at industry related events and other meetings.
Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job at the project or customer level.
Manages and reviews related internal documents for accuracy.
Maintain/improve technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, obtaining applicable certifications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of the art practices and participating in professional societies and cross-departmental task forces.
Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
Performs other duties as directed.
Bachelor or University degree in a related discipline plus generally five years of directly related experience required.
In-depth knowledge the area of interest.
Experience with direct reports and project management.
