UL, LLC Senior Sales Process Specialist in Krefeld, Germany

Works independently to take a broad perspective to resolve customer inquiries and support UL’s sales professionals, including but not limited to inquiry follow-up, quote generation, case development, and order processing, as required.

  • Engages with customers via telephone or electronic inquiries to address inquiries and admin-related activities.

  • Coordinates pre- and post-sale actions to ensure customers are meeting TIC certification requirements and product or service adoption timelines.

  • Works autonomously within established procedures to develop and share quotes using standardized pricing tools.

  • Client follow-up and aid in turning quotes into orders.

  • Supports our sales professionals by performing (included but not limited to) admin-related tasks.

  • Connects customer to appropriate UL personnel (Account Manager, SEs/ISEs, delivery teams and engineers, etc.) when appropriate.

  • Tracks account history and supply data from internal sources as requested by account owners and representatives to facilitate deeper knowledge of account and account opportunities.

  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to resolve customer inquiries.

  • Based on the relationship and deep understanding of the customer and needs, provides input to account manager or SE/ISE to inform sales strategy where applicable.

  • Builds an internal UL problem-solving network and proactively engages other teams to anticipate problems, improve delivery, and develop solutions that improve the customer experience.

  • Meet established timelines for pre-and post-sales activities.

  • Discusses/prepares commercial yearly plans with existing key customers.

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably Engineering or related).

  • Around 5 years of related experience in sales support and/or sales processes management or related.

  • Strong command of German and English is a must.

  • Technical background in plastics (wire & cable industry background would be highly desirable).

  • Very good knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), and Salesforce or other CRM software.

  • Business acumen and good understanding of business sales processes.

  • Strong communication and administrative skills.

  • Pro-active approach and ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Good sales skills and ability to propose alternative solutions.

  • A strong team player who is able to successfully collaborate with the team and stakeholders.
