UL, LLC Engineer Project Associate in Suzhou, China
The Electrical Characteristic engineer after successful employment will work under the supervision of the global team and support local and global projects. He/she will essentially do organization, implementation and evaluation of measurements and tests on wind turbines to determine the electrical properties, in particular on Power quality (PQ) and Fault-Ride-Through (FRT) testing. He/she may need travel to wind farm install and commission data acquisition system and perform field testing.
Further, the engineer will be responsible for independent execution and timely completion of projects by analyzing project scope and determining project specifications, coordinating with clients during the course of the project and preparing reports for clients.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Communication with business partners and customer relationship management
Project management and co-ordination, execution and the customer communication
Collaborate and cooperate with the global team
Perform power quality and fault ride through testing according to related grid code requirements
Evaluat ion of test data and deliverables
Optimiz ation of work processes
Guard safety at test site.
Additional Responsibilities:
Participation in an internationally operating team and providing required support in day to day activities
Communication with business partners at home and abroad
Support other testing work in the team
HIRE-IN
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering or any equivalent field
Minimum 3 years of experience in the field of power quality testing or fault right through testing of wind turbine.
Good communication skills
Willingness to travel (within China and outside the country)
Willingness to work at site for longer measurement periods
